How to create a Photo TimeLapse with Davinci Resolve
Introduction
The timelapse below was taken by leaving the camera to take various images throughout the course of a day. That is snow and rain on the same day. The steps below highlight how it was taken.
Select a scene
Setup the camera on the tripod
Calculate the timelapse length and number of images needed
Use the widest aperture on the lens or a manual lens
Use an ND filter to slow the shutter speeds if they are above 1/60th of a second
Use the lowest ISO
Use the Timelapse setting on the camera or an intervalometer to take the timelapse
Copy the images to the camera
Load the image sequences into Davinci Resolve
Edit the clips and export the final clip
